Research interest
My main area of research is clinical epidemiology in the field of intensive care medicine, with a focus on vulnerable populations in critical care. Vulnerable populations include individuals facing greater challenges due to social, medical, or environmental factors, which expose them to severe, complex, and/or rare diseases. These patients often exhibit atypical clinical presentations, leading to diagnostic and therapeutic delays associated with poor outcomes. The aim of my research is to understand the determinants of these vulnerabilities in order to improve their clinical management. It is structured around two main areas: socioeconomic deprivation in critical care, and solid organ transplantation in the intensive care setting.
