Research interest
Léa Lenglart is a pediatrician spesialized in emergency medicine and a researcher in infectious disease epidemiology, with a strong focus on RSV bronchiolitis, vaccine and monoclonal antibody impact, and quasi-experimental methods (e.g., interrupted time series).
Léa Lenglart has been co-coordinating the Resync project, a European network of pediatric emergency and infectious diseases physicians working on the impact of public health interventions on respiratory tract infections at pediatric emergency departments. This project has been award an INSERM International Research Project grant for 2025-2030.
She is currently undertaking a PhD supervised by Pr Naim Ouldali (EPIC team, IAME laboratory) and Dr Ruud Nijman (Section of PID, Imperial College London). Her PhD work focuses on modelling the impact of the various new anti-RSV strategies implemented across Europe on RSV-related infections presenting at pediatric emergency departments. She has been awarded the ESPID fellowship for this on-going project.
