Research interest
I am a paediatrician specializing in infectious diseases with clinical experience in both metropolitan France and French Guiana. My research focuses on the epidemiology of community-acquired infections in children, with a particular interest in pneumococcal diseases and viral respiratory infections.
My work aims to model the impact of public health interventions on paediatric infectious diseases, including the effectiveness and population-level impact of pneumococcal conjugate vaccines and monoclonal antibodies targeting respiratory syncytial virus (RSV).
My PhD project, supervised by Prof. Naim Ouldali and Dr. Thibaut Morel-Journel, seeks to better understand the ecological and evolutionary dynamics of Streptococcus pneumoniae under vaccine-driven selection. By integrating genomic data into epidemiological models, this work aims to improve predictions of the population-level impact of future pneumococcal conjugate vaccines and inform vaccination strategies.
